From the Author

This novel was necessary to explain past and future events. I'll be working diligently to finish the sequel to Book One: The Virtual Realm. After the completion of that, I'll begin writing my completely new project -- a hardcore,highly detailed litRPG series that taps into the spirit of the MMORPG. I'm looking forward to finishing both of these books. I hope everyone enjoys what's to come in the future as much as I will.

In the year of 2018, the world faced a new dawn. The birth of a true virtual reality world through a game called War of the Elements. Two highly skilled gamers including the socially awkward Drake and the free spirit Karla dive into this brave new world. Soon, all of the players who entered War of The Elements will realize the brutal truth through a global in-game message-stating that a virus has been embedded into the system which disables the logout function. In addition, they only have a single life in this world and if they die in the game, they will be stuck as a vegetable in the real world permanently. The only way to escape this fate is to complete the final mission of this world. What starts as a simple game turns into a tale of betrayal, a struggle for humanity's survival, and a trip through ancient history from a lost era. Will Drake and Karla beat the game of death that awaits them, or die trying?
